Last week, Year 2 visited the Florence Nightingale Museum in London.

All the girls thoroughly enjoyed their trip, including meeting Florence herself,  who was very impressed with how much the girls knew about her life and work! During the course of the day, the girls learnt more about why Florence went to Crimea, how she improved the conditions for the soldiers and nurses there, and what happened as a result of her work.  The girls particularly enjoyed looking at and handling some real and replica objects and artefacts, including trying on some of the replica uniforms.

It was lovely to see the girls' history learning come to life!
