RMS alumnae working in the arts, science, finance, medicine, the civil service, law, education and many other industries have opted to be part of our alumnae mentoring network.

The scheme, which matches alumnae with current students, is designed to give RMS girls a leg up when it comes to job hunting and interview preparation. We are always looking for experienced Old Girls to be matched, so if you would like to take part, we would love to hear from you.

Mentoring can mean anything from a one off meeting to regular meetups over the course of a year. To see more about what mentoring might involve, take a look at our guidelines here

Whether you are looking to be a mentor, or to be mentored, then please tell us more about yourself through the form below.

MENTOR REGISTRATION

Meeting up with somebody who has my dream job to hear their stories and get advice for interviews has been amazing. I feel incredibly lucky to have had this opportunity and I’ve no doubt it will help me when I start my career after university.

Lily, Upper Sixth

My mentor has been brilliant, particularly with assisting me with interview preparation. Without her help I don’t believe I would have been as comfortable putting myself up for the job. This has seen a considerable step up in my career. I can’t put into words how brilliant the scheme has been for me. If you’re unsure about signing up, just go for it!

Beth, Class of 2013

Speaking to a mentor has given me so much more than I could have ever imagined. My mentor helped me work out what I'm really interested in, how to communicate this and how to write a job application. Do it! You have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
