Inclusivity

The practice of including and celebrating people.

Inclusivity is the Value for the first half of Michaelmas term, a time when we welcome many new pupils and staff to the RMS Community and celebrate the differences across our school.

Courage

The spirit to do something that frightens you or is difficult.

Courage is the Value for the second half of Michaelmas term. Many endeavours at school require courage and bravery, from embarking on new projects or working on a difficult piece of work, to challenging activities like taking part in a school performance or playing in a team.

Ambition

A strong desire to do or achieve something and be successful.

Ambition is the Value for for the first half of Hilary term. This is a good time to consider what you want to achieve, to demonstrate ambition in your learning and ensure you are the best you can be at all times.

Kindness

The quality of being considerate, caring and helpful.

Kindness is the Value for the second half of Hilary term. The School community are encouraged to demonstrate empathy, compassion and generosity towards one another, in order to enhance relationships and overall happiness.

Perseverance

The persistence to do something even though it is difficult.

Perseverance is the Value for the first half of Trinity term. Everyone in the school community needs to demonstrate perseverance at times, be it working toward exams, learning a new skill or perfecting a talent.

Integrity

The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

Integrity is the Value for the second half of Trinity term. Everyone in the school community is encouraged to live their life truthfully and to do the right thing without compromising their principles.
