On the 4th and 5th of September a Young Enterprise group, Baggle, made up of 10 RMS girls attended the Young Enterprise Trade Fair at Intu Shopping Centre in Watford.
Our product, Baggle, is an innovative, up-cycled, handmade bag handle, which enables you to carry multiple bags at once with comfort. At Intu Watford we were faced with trying to sell our produce to the public which was obviously going to be harder than selling at school to our family and friends.
The weekend was extremely successful with the team winning two awards: Innovation and Creativity alongside the Special Achievement Award for our use of social media. We had designed a Snapchat
geo-filter, which was available for the public to use and a great advertisement for our group. From this event we have learnt how to improve our product as well as our trade stand as some member of the public took their time to give us feedback. This is vital in order to progress further in the competition.
Young Enterprise is a great way to develop teamwork skills and expand understanding and knowledge of how a business works and how to make it a successful one.
