Sister Act

Congratulations to sisters Niamh (Year 8) and Ceara (Year 10) who both competed, and won medals at national swimming championships this summer.

At the British Swimming Championships in Sheffield, Ceara won Gold in the 50m Backstroke (14yrs). as well as Silver in the the 100m Backstroke. She unfortunately missed the Gold in the 100 by the smallest of margins – just 0.01 of a second!!!

At the ASA Summer Nationals, Niamh won gold in the 100m Freestyle (13 yrs) and Ceara in the very next race – 100m freestyle (14 yrs).

Congratulations to both sisters on these fantastic achievements – RMS is delighted to count TWO champions in their midst!!!
