‘leadership is something that happens when you leave the room”.
On Saturday 19th of September the new RMS Senior Team crawled into school at 8:30 am. We were met by the ex military leadership expert Harry Kemsly, to say the least we all felt apprehensive about the day ahead. However, much to our delight the day turned out to be an enormous amount of fun and extremely beneficial. Not only was it great to meet and go head to head with the John Hammond Boys School Senior Team, but it was also fantastic to draw on the knowledge of Harry and his collages.
True to form the RMS Senior Team won the day, upholding our seven-year winning streak. We all learned so much about what makes a successful leader and are extremely grateful to have been involved in such a unique opportunity.
