Every week at Ruspini House a Spanish session is offered as an enrichment activity to the children’s learning and development. There is a growing appreciation of the value of speaking more than one language and embracing other languages and culture can bring rich rewards.

A number of research studies have shown that children who have learned a second language at a young age demonstrate cognitive advantages such as increased problem-solving skills and creativity.

Learning Spanish is continued in Cadogan House and parental feedback whose children are currently taking part is extremely positive. The benefits of these sessions are not only in learning a language, but also in terms of listening, attention and personal, social and emotional development.
