Our first full day in Beijing saw a visit to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and Jingsan Park under bright blue skies and an unusually balmy 15 degrees… needless to  say our thick winter coats were surplus to requirement!

The girls had a great time visiting the sites and found the constant 'papping' by the locals very entertaining! They walked for miles (17,000 steps so the FitBits told us) lead by staff from the Harrow School and Kevin (the son of one of the teachers) with his trusty China flag, which somehow managed to keep us altogether amongst the busy crowds. Quote of the day: #whereskevinandhisflag! All in all, a fantastic start to the trip!
