Yesterday, we hosted a wonderful reunion for former pupils who left the School 50 years ago.

Our guests were given a warm welcome with a speech from Senior Deputy Head Ms Bailey about recent achievements of pupils, and incredible performances from music scholars Anna Ngan and Antonia Chan. Anna played Barcarolle no.1 in A minor by Faure and Antonia sang Per Pieta Bell'Idol Mio" by Bellini.

This was swiftly followed by a delicious lunch in the Governors’ Dining Room. Guests commented on how they had never been allowed into that area of the School before. Many stories were exchanged of experiences at school and the Old Girls had brought photos and archive material with them so they could reminisce together.

Members of the Year 12 Pupil Leadership Team took the visitors on tours around the School; this was the absolute highlight of the day for many of our guests. They loved comparing stories about their experiences at school and seeing what has developed and changed since their time here, and what has stayed the same.

The day was rounded off with a viewing of the film ‘Judy’ which made during 1960s and even featured some of our guests. You can see the video here

Thank you so much to all the girls who performed and took tours who made the Old Girls visit back to School a truly wonderful experience.
