On the evening of Thursday 1st December, the Prep and Senior School Music Departments were very pleased to present their Winter Concerts.

We started the evening at Cadogan House and were treated to an eclectic range of performances ranging from the Chamber Choir to the Samba Band. Violinists, singers and wind musicians thrilled their captive audience. Watching the choirs, ensembles and orchestras develop over the year is a true pleasure.

Well done to all the performers and the brilliant Mrs Bentham for your continued dedication to making music at Cadogan House so fantastic.

Then we took a walk down to our new performance venue ‘The Space’  to enjoy the Senior School section of the concert. This event was a showcase for the large ensembles which rehearse at RMS on a weekly basis, in particular RMSO, Sinfonia, Concert Band, RMS Chorus, RMS Voices, Choro and Senior Jazz Ensemble.

It also provided a performance platform for some of our chamber ensembles, including Cello Ensemble, Flute Ensemble and Brass Ensemble. With over one hundred and fifty students participating from across the entire Senior School, it was a truly spectacular event and welcomed the festive season in a suitably celebratory way.
