In an immersive workshop led by contemporary artist Sally Gilford, Year 10 Textiles pupils enjoyed a dynamic exploration of screen printing.
With over 15 years of experience in schools and art institutions, Sally’s approach emphasised multi-disciplinary art forms, encouraging pupils to experiment and express themselves.
Focused on the ‘Pattern & Print’ theme of their GCSE project, pupils explored colour, texture, and pattern. Guided by Sally, they created vibrant textile samples, each tied to their individual themes.
"The workshop was a great experience and a unique opportunity. Working with Sally Gilford was fun and we got to experiment with techniques that we might not have got to try during our normal lesson time."- Kate Julius 10H
