Huge congratulations to Rhianna, Year 13, who has recently achieved the LAMDA Level 3 Shakespeare For Performance exam with Distinction.

During her time at RMS, Rhianna has steadily worked on her LAMDA Shakespeare For Performance exams for Levels 1 and 2, and is now the first student at RMS to complete the same exam at Level 3. Rhianna has been studying with LAMDA since the age of 4, achieving a distinction in all her exams to date, therefore it is no surprise to see her continue to flourish.

I find it interesting to look at the specific words that Shakespeare uses to bring his characters to life. His language helps me to understand the atmosphere of the scene and helps me establish the characters, feelings and relationships within the scene and the play as a whole

- Rhianna, Year 13

Rihanna performed two Shakespeare speeches and a sonnet during the exam. She also enjoyed discussing the speeches, sonnet, Shakespeare’s style of writing and Elizabethan theatre with the examiner. Rhianna was complimented on her energy, enthusiasm for characterisation and sincere appreciation for the style of writing.

I am incredibly proud of Rhianna for this achievement and the wonderful work ethic she has developed over the years. I wish Rhianna every success for her LAMDA Grade 8 Acting exam that she will take in the summer
