RMS recently hosted our annual Prefect Leadership Day, fostering collaboration between our own Head Prefect Team and senior students from John Hampden Grammar School.

We were honoured to welcome Harry Kemsley OBE from Janes as our special guest. The event featured an array of activities, including problem-solving exercises and communication challenges, all designed to impart valuable lessons in resource management, goal setting, and teamwork.

As our oldest students, Sixth Formers are role models to the whole RMS community. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be encouraged to embrace opportunities for leadership by representing the school at open events, managing activities and mentoring younger pupils.

Formal leadership positions include head pupils, deputy head pupils, prefects, subject ambassadors, sports captains and mentors, but we are firm believers in collective leadership and want all our students to play their part in making RMS a better place.

Our students left with newfound enthusiasm, eager to shape a brighter future for our school community and help it thrive.
