RMS entered a team of two Year 12 students and two Year 13 students in the UKMT Senior Mathematics Team Challenge at Merchant Taylor’s School.
The team commented ‘It was enjoyable integrating between Year 12 and year 13, and has boosted our Maths team work skills. We have also enhanced our problem solving skills. The challenges were fun, and we got to meet a lot of pupils from other schools. We would like to thank Mrs Cubbon who had arranged this event for us. It was great fun!’
The team finished in an impressive 9th place in competition with schools who do a lot more training for the event than we manage.
