Six different age teams from RMS qualified to compete in the ISGA National Championships this year.

This was held over 3 days at St Catherine’s School in Guildford with about 440 girls taking part. Independent schools from all over England and British schools from Belgium and the Netherlands took part. Each team is required to compete on the Set Vault, Set Floor, Voluntary Vault, Voluntary Floor and Group.

FRIDAY:

The Under 9 Team (Pixie, Grace, Esme, Hannah, Rhianna & Scarlets) came 7th in the Group and 6th overall winning the “GISGA SHIELD”. Scarlett also came individually 8th out of 60 gymnasts.

The Under 15 Team (Josie, Hayleigh, Gabi, Beatrice & Polly) came 2nd in the group winning the “QUEENSWOOD SALVER” and came 8th overall.

SATURDAY:

The Under 11 Team (Harper, Sophia, Ritika, Sophie, Olivia and Sowmiya) won their group therefore bringing home the “DANESHILL SHIELD” and came 3rd overall winning the “PEARCE TROPHY”. Sowmiya came individually 10th and Sophie 14th out of 80 gymnasts.

 

The Under 13 Team (Ynes, Tilly, Sofia, Eloise, Victoria and Kyra) came 2nd in their group and won the “TORMEAD SALVER”. They came 6th overall meaning they were awarded the “CARTER SHIELD”. Victoria came 19th out of 80 gymnasts

SUNDAY:

The Under 10 Team (Emily, Paige, Mayurakshi and Isobel) came 8th in the group and 13th overall. Isobel came individually 8th out of 83 gymnasts

The Over 13 Team (Sophia, Mia, Molly, Amelia & Miranda) won their group (thereby winning “THE PRESIDENTS PLATE”) and  came 5th overall winning the “GISGA SHIELD”.  Miranda came individually 9th and Amelia came 13th out of 75 gymnasts
