On Saturday the 9th a group of boarders from Harris House set out to visit the Foundling Museum.
Following the tube ride, where girls were entertained with many many games of 21 questions, we arrived at the Museum. The Foundling Museum is located on the original hospital site, and was the UK's first children's charity. It was a particularly interesting visit for the girls given the many similarities between the Foundling Hospital and the early days of RMS. The girls particularly enjoyed having the opportunity to dress up as Foundlings', although the effect was somewhat changed by the large amount of selfie taking! Following a visit to the final exhibition in the museum – a collection of Handel's original manuscript as well as his will and testament – the girls were lucky enough to enjoy some free time shopping in London.
