We were delighted to see so many of our alumnae and former staff back at RMS last Friday, for the annual Recent Leavers’ event, which took place in the garden of Hind House (our Sixth Form centre).

Almost 100 former students from the classes of 2018-2023, as well as former staff, came together to reconnect and reminisce about their time at RMS. It was a lovely evening filled with a lot of chatting and laughter.

It felt like only yesterday I left the school. Being back here, amongst familiar faces, both teachers and friends, was lovely. Hearing about what my former classmates are up to now was the highlight!

- Isabel, Class of 2022

I most enjoyed catching up with my old teachers who I hadn’t seen since leaving RMS. I always really enjoyed the lessons, so it was nice to talk about the memories we had

- Sabrina, Class of 2018

This event is just one of many alumnae gatherings and networking opportunities throughout the year.

It was so lovely to catch up with students, some of whom I haven't seen since they left. What struck me was the variety of different pathways they have all taken...and how all grown up they looked!

- Mrs Freeman, Head of Sixth Form

Our alumnae are a valued part of our community and they regularly return to school to share career insights and their experience of university life to current students, empowering the next generation of RMS leavers.

Whether your memories of RMS stretch back to the 1940s, or you’re a more recent addition to our alumnae family, we’d love to stay connected. Keep your eyes peeled for updates about our next alumnae event, Remembrance Day.
