Last week, RMS for Girls warmly welcomed back the class of 2023 for a special Certificate Presentation Evening.
Held on Friday evening in The Space at RMS, the event was a celebration of our most recent leavers’ successes during their time at RMS. The evening featured a short presentation ceremony, where students received their certificates from RMS Alumna Deniz, who gave an inspiring talk about her journey since leaving the School in 2019.
Deniz graduated from the University of Sussex with a first-class honours degree in 2023 and has recently started working in the House of Commons as a Parliamentary Assistant, as well as working as a trained Disabled Student Consultant with Disabled Students UK.
One of the many highlights of the evening was witnessing three alumnae collecting certificates celebrating their own unique RMS journey, having been students at the School from Reception all the way through to Year 13.
Our returning students, along with their families and friends, then enjoyed a relaxed drinks reception in the Dining Hall. It was a lovely opportunity for these recent leavers to reconnect, share university experiences with teachers, and fondly reminisce about their time at RMS, which has played a crucial role in shaping their future.
