In honour of World Book Day, Kathryn Evans visited our school to offer valuable insights into her career.
Renowned for her captivating storytelling and dynamic presence as a speaker, Kathryn is celebrated for her young adult novels.
Outside of her literary endeavours, Kathryn leads a diverse life. Alongside her husband and son, Kathryn manages a fruit farm on England’s south coast and has represented Great Britain in fencing.
During the event, Kathryn engaged with our pupils, sharing book recommendations and discussing the works that have influenced her own writing. The session ended in an interactive Q&A, allowing students to delve into the writing and publishing process.
To conclude the event, the pupils were given the chance to have their books signed by Kathryn, which was a fantastic opportunity!
